MS Europa 2: Construction begins in France

The official beginning of the construction of the Ms Europa 2 was marked on September 5, 2011 as work began. The new addition to the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises fleet. Sebastian Ahrens, Managing Director of the cruise operator, officially gave the start signal at the STX shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. MS Hanseatic has just completed an extensive revamp to fit in with the appearance of the Hapag-Lloyd fleet. Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has revealed details of its 2012/2013 expedition voyages on board the small expedition ships, MS Hanseatic and MS Bremen. The ships will be offering 12 international (English/German) itineraries next season.
