Cruise International Editor in virtual event

Cruise International editor Adam Coulter will be taking part in a virtual event on overcoming customers’ barriers to taking a first-time cruise.

The event, TTG Virtual: Cruise, will be run by leading trade newspaper TTG and is aimed at travel agents.

It will cover such topics as overcoming barriers to cruise sales, broadening a cruise customer base, using technology to sell more in the sector, adding value to sales without cutting price and and managing a crisis.

Cruise International columnist and Association of Cruise Experts’ director Flo Powell will speak about how river cruising offers a different experience to ocean cruising and is becoming just as popular with travellers.

Others cruise lines participating in the event, which takes place on 29 March, include NCLMSC,  Cruise Shipping Miami, and Viking River Cruises.

About Adam Coulter
Adam Coulter was a bit of a cruise novice when he took over the captaincy of Cruise International in 2010. In the past year and a half he's jumped right in, clocking up seven cruises in a year and a half plus a visit to the Panama Canal. When he's not on board a ship he likes nothing more than jumping off to do a spot of scuba diving, preferably in the warm waters of the Caribbean.
