Photos of the The Liberty of the Seas – the largest cruise ship in Europe – with an incredible range of facilities and features.
To give an idea of all that Liberty of the Seas has to offer we took pictures on board a short Mediterranean cruise, with an itinerary that took RCCL Liberty of the Seas from Barcelona to Cannes, Florence, Rome and back to Barcelona.
The following photos give a taster of what to expect on board a Liberty of the Seas cruise.

Finding your way around Liberty of the Seas
On such a large ship, and with so many activities throughout the day, it takes at least 24 hours to become familiar with the ship’s layout.
Fortunately Royal Caribbean have made it as easy as possible to acclimatise to life on board the vessel with a number of helpful guides:
Ship Plan – Stationed on every major junction on the ship, this gives a handy pointer to where you are.

Touch Screen Guide – With handy features such as ‘what to do right now’ these touch screens proved indispensable for finding out what is on, where, and how to get there.

Interactive TV - Every room has an interactive TV to give you up to date information about what is happening on the Liberty of the Seas herself, and what you have booked. The TV interfaces with your account so you can book shows and shore excursions at the touch of a button.

Daily Planner – Every day each room receives a printed Daily Planner which highlights the important on board events of the day, and gives you insider information about any shore excursions. It is perfect to read over breakfast and plan your day.

Casino and Gaming
There are many ways to play games on board the ship, with a suite of Arcade machines – including modern classics such as Guitar Hero – rooms of fruit machines and casino tables for Roulette and Black Jack. It is reminiscent of a smaller Vegas Casino and is easier for guests to get to than Monte Carlo!

The ship leaves port

We pull away from Civitavecchia, the nearest port to Rome (about 1.5 hours drive). It is the 2nd largest port in the Mediterranean and 'The Heart of Italy'
