Ocean Countess

Ocean Countess

Following a £3 million refurbishment programme, Ocean Countess joined the Cruise & Maritime Voyages fleet in April 2010. The ship originally entered service as Cunard Countess and became one of the best-known ships to sail the Caribbean Sea.  With her distinctive traditional profile, the 800 passenger Ocean Countess has seven passenger decks, a generous amount of deck space, is stabilised and air conditioned throughout, and offers a truly relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

On board public facilities include the comfortable Holyrood Show Lounge, the Tower Piano Bar with its panoramic views, well-stocked library and card tables and, by contrast, Hamptons for late night entertainment and to try your luck in the casino. Ocean Countess offers traditional two sitting dining in the Kensington Restaurant or as an alternative, enjoy a buffet at the Boat House (subject to weather conditions). In addition, Ocean Countess provides a shopping gallery, internet café and the Jade Wellness Centre with gym, sauna, spa, massage, hairdressing and beauty facilities. She offers extensive deck areas, a promenade deck, heated swimming pool, two whirlpools and a pool bar. Families are welcome to cruise aboard Ocean Countess although it should be noted that there are no dedicated recreation facilities for children.
