Virgin Cruises extends Rockstar service

Virgin Holidays Cruises is rolling out its “Rock Star Service” to anyone who books a cruise holiday which includes Virgin Atlantic flights and an outside cabin.

The Rock Star service means a chauffeur pick up from home to the airport and back when they return from their cruise.

This is a direct outcome of customer research, where feedback suggested how stressful the pre- and post- elements of holidays can be.

The Rockstar Service is also being made available for kids.

For customers who book a Disney cruise, Virgin Holidays Cruises can organise a phone call from Mickey Mouse telling them that they are going on a Disney Cruise.

Richard Twynam, managing director of Virgin Holidays Cruises said: “These two new differentiators are cruise exclusives in the UK and demonstrate our commitment to treating our customers to personalised ‘Rockstar Service’.

“Only Virgin customers get treated like ‘Rockstars’ and with these new initiatives that service now starts from the moment customer’s book.”

About Adam Coulter
Adam Coulter was a bit of a cruise novice when he took over the captaincy of Cruise International in 2010. In the past year and a half he's jumped right in, clocking up seven cruises in a year and a half plus a visit to the Panama Canal. When he's not on board a ship he likes nothing more than jumping off to do a spot of scuba diving, preferably in the warm waters of the Caribbean.
